Soy chunks kurma

Ingredients:

Soy chunks - 1 cup
Clove or lavanga - 3
Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
Onion - 1 medium sized - sliced
Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Garlic - 2 pods
Tomato - 1 big - chopped
Green chillies - 2 - sliced vertically
Grated Coconut - 2 spoons
Coriander powder - 1 spoon
Cumin powder - 1 spoon
Red chilli powder - 1spoon
Salt - as needed
Oil - 2 table spoons
Coriander leaves - for garnishing

Process:
Step-1: heat oil in a pan, add cloves, cinnamon, onion pieces and fry till onions sauted.
Step-2: now add turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, tomato pieces, coriander powder, cumin powder, green chillies, red chilli powder, grated coconut and cook until tomato pieces are mashy with close lid and let it get cooled, then put in a blender, make it a fine paste.
Step-3: while it is being done, on another stove put a vessel and boil water like 2:1 ratio, i.e. 2 cups water for 1 cup soy chunks.
Step-4: when water started boiling add soy chunks and cook it for 7 minutes, then drain the hot water,  and pour cold water through the strainer, then squeeze water from soy chunks by hand with mild pressing and keep it aside.
Step-5: now put remaining oil in pan, add grinded masala paste, add salt enough for whole curry and let it get cooked for 5 min.
Step-6: now add soy chunks to it and cook until oil leaves the sides of the vessel with no lid. Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
